Goodbye

So the sparkle just isn't there anymore with this blog for me so I'm starting a new one. I won't be deleting this blog so you guys can still enjoy past posts but I will no longer be posting on this blog. So, uh, bye I guess. My new blog is called Rapunzel Says under my alter ego Rapunzel.

See you there.

Garnier Caffiene Roll On Review & OOTD

Chicas!
I know, I know. I haven't posted in a yonk and a half but do not fret! We have not one, but two posts in one today. I hardly ever do reviews so I have prepared one for y'all and its one I'm very excited about.

But first of all I'll do my Outfit of the Day which I'm pre-etty proud of. It's my hippie butterfly peace sign top teamed with my new denim jacket and my jeans. I wore this shopping with my mates (which is when I bought my review item). I love it because the top is all floaty and feminine and the (oo-er) double denim gives it an urban vibe.

Now for what we've all been waiting for *deep breath*...my Garnier Caffiene 2 in 1 Tinted Eye Roll-On (in Fair) review! Now initially I thought 'jeepers, did I get the funsize version?' as I took the roll on stick out of it's box. It's very slim so I'm not too sure how much use I'm going to get out of it, but as soon as I applied it to my purpling under eyes and rubbed in I was gobsmacked. This thing, I swear is a miracle worker. Where'd my bags go? It was like 60 Minute Makeover on my face. In a couple of seconds.
Before
After

Now I got my roll-on stick for £5.50 from good old Wilkinsons but I think its full price is around a tenner. This is an amazing bargain so I suggest you all go and BUYBUYBUY.

Kaybaiii.

3 Ways To Wear A Headband

Hi chicas!
I was sitting in my room, pondering what to post about recently and I spotted an old headband on the floor. I love floral accesories. I thought about their multiple uses and decided to post about them. So here it is! A pretty headband and three ways to wear it.

The Headband

It's a real nice daisy headband. I got it from Claire's, two pounds in the sale I seem to remember. It's not very tight, but maybe that's just my small head! It's not elasticated either, but I still love it.

Hippie Style

Everyone thinks of a girl with a headband like this when they think of a hippie chic. I lovelovelove wearing headbands like this and it's a fun way to wear them.

Necklace
This headband doesn't have to go on your head - oh no! It works as a necklace too.

Headband
Well, if it's what it's for then it may as well be done. *huffy face*

That's it for today folks but I'll hopefully be back on Wednesday. Bye!

Early Birthday Presents

Hey chicas!
Hope you remembered to get your Mother's Day presents. So my grandparents came over for Mothering Sunday and they also came armed with birthday presents! My Grandma has a truly awesome fashion sense. So all of the clothes you see in the first two pictures are from Bluezoo apart from the pink leggings which are from Next, and the top and jacket in the last outfit are from Debenhams.

So that's about it for today but I'll be back on Wednesday with an eye shadow tutorial. Don't forget to comment or even follow!

Passionfruit Lipstick

Hey lil' chicas!
I know, I'm sorry for the no-post on Wednesday. This week has been really chaotic and I only remembered it was my post day as I was drifting off to sleep Wednesday night. So sorry.
Anyway, on to better news. I'm doing a beauty post, lo and behold! I was dans la toilette (in the bathroom to you and me) and I spotted some old lipstick my mother gave to me ages ago. I tried it on and boy, did I fall in love with it! Now I just want to go on a lipstick spree and buy everything. Yeah, so I thought, who do I share everything(ish) with? My chicas! So here it is. Apologies for my awful hair.

You might not be able to see on the before and after but it is really bright and awesome! The name and number of the lipstick is Passionfruit and 5. It's 'Lasting Colour' and 'Collection 2000' but that's really all I know about it!

Ooooooh chicas. I got a tumblr! How crazy is that? I'm nattheretrochic.tumblr.com and it's basically pretty stuff. You guys should *AHEM* follow *AHEM* hint hint. Plus, I've started posting stories on Wattpad again! I'm Natthenit and my new story is I Met A Boy.

I will try reallyreallyreally hard to post on Wednesday. Scout's honour. In the meantime you should follow on twitter (@IttyBittyNatNat)

Top 5 Favourite Hairstyles

30th post, chicas!
I'm back after a day's rest. I didn't know what to do with myself yesterday, so I planned today's blog with is going to be tip-top. I'll show you my top 5 favourite, simple hairstyles.

1. Fishtail Braid
This is one of my favourites because it looks amazing, and is pretty easy to do:
Split your hair in to two. Take a small amount of hair from one half, and transfer it in to the other half. Do the same on the other side. Keep doing this until you run out out hair and secure with a hair elastic.

2. Little Braid
I wear this all the time to school - it keeps the hair out of your eyes but you can still have it down. I didn't braid the two sections of hair but you can:
Take a small section of hair from either side of your face. Take them to the back of your head and secure with an elastic. You could add flower/bow pins as I did. Simple!

3. Top Knot
This hairstyle is like, so cool. I want to wear this more but it's very conspicuous, so y'know. Here's how to do it:
Sweep your hair in to a ponytail on top of your head. (optional) Curl in to bun and secure with pins. (or) add donut. Spread hair across donut. Add hair elastic. Muss up the bun. Wind the remaining hair around the base of the bun. Add flowers/bows if necessary.

4. Pigtails
This look is so sweet and is guaranteed to make you look young again! It's simple:
Make two, low ponytails either side of your face. Add any accessories and you're good!

5. Heidi Braids
These are pretty wacky, but wonderful. Here's how to acheive Heidi heaven:
Split your hair in two. Braid both sections. Wind them around your head and pin in place. Add accessories.

So I hope you enjoyed this post. I'll be back Wednesday, but in the meantime you can contact me on Twitter (@IttyBittyNatNat) and even follow. See you!

A Week With A Vintage, Retro Chic ~ Final Day

A day in York, lil' chicas!
We were going to go to the Jorvik Center today but with a bit of a change of events, instead I'll show you pictures I took of York, an ace band called King No-One and a cute, kitsch shop called Little Saffron's...

The Pictures

Little Saffron's

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.

They look like fruit, they smell like fruit, but they're actually handmade artisan soaps. Click here to find out more.

King No-One
This is a great indie rock band I discovered on the streets of York. Find them on Twitter (@KingNoOne2) or Facebook.

So that was today's post! Do you guys like York? Have you been there? Today was the last day of 'A Week With A Vintage, Retro Chic' but alas! I will be back, as usual on Wednesdays and Sundays, so see you then! Remember, Twitter (@IttyBittyNatNat) and you could even follow.
